We are doing a donation to 'our lady of the island' instead of an actually favor and I don't know what to say on the cards we are putting on the table. Can anyone tell me how they worded or how they are going to word theirs? Thank you!

Re: Wording for donation card?
To Our Family and Friends
With much thought and consideration, we have chosen a special way to say “Thank You” for sharing our wedding day with us.
In lieu of a traditional wedding favor, we have made a donation in your honor to the American Diabetes Association, to help fight this disease and one day find a cure.
We feel the finest gift is one which helps others live longer and healthier lives. This gift is given in special recognition of XX, the brides father, who shares in our joy today.
We truly appreciate your being part of our special day.

Re: Wording for donation card?
I just went to a wedding this Saturday and the favors were a donation. They had their donation card framed and on three tables (the place card table, the bar and by the cake). They said that they were thankful that we attended and that in lieu of traditional favors they were making a donation for breast cancer. It was simple, short and very nice. Good luck

Re: Wording for donation card?
just my opinion... its pretty cheap... Id buy Tulle circles and put a few hershey kisses in it, then attach a not that says about the donation...
