Wording for Save the Date

Should I put the location of the ceremony?(ie: Dix Hills, New York)

I've seen STD with it and without it. I didn't do it but if you like it...do it.

I go back and forth on this almost daily. I can't decide between Long Island, New York or the town where the ceremony is (reception is in another town so idk if it's confusing)

Traditionally you put the location of the church. I had the same issue with wording and didn't like that idea. So I put the link to my website and I am assuming everyone will understand.

Im having the ceremony and reception at the same place, so I just put Westbury, NY. If they were different towns, I probably would have just put Long Island, NY and listed the specific info on the website.

Agree! Ours is in the same place so we put Woodbury, NY.

I did woodbury even though our reception is in woodbury and our ceremony is nearby in east williston. Woodbury is more well-known, so I went with that. I also put a link to our site so they'll have all the info as soon as they visit there.
