Wording for separated parents heading for divorce??
Hi... I think I am dreading looking for invites b/c I know FMIL is going to want Mr. and Mrs S...... underneath son of Kevin S....... They don't live together and are heading for divorce. What should the wording be? She doesn't see a problem with putting Mr. and Mrs but my FH and I do! They are married but not acting married! I think she is in denial too.... Why are in laws so difficult?!

i had a similar issue,, my parnets are divorced BUT neither remarried & my mom still uses her arried name, they were married 35 years, fh parnets are divorced & both remrarried, i didnt wnat to exclude them , i wanted to honor them
i put , Ms. Barbara ******** & Mr. Salvatore **** request the honour of your presence blah blah blah to son of Ms . Theresa **** & Mr. Mike ***
