wording help

I want to use this small paragraph to let my guests know that we are doing a donation in lieu of favors, did I word this correctly? Should the beginning letters of each line be capitalized? TIA!

To Our Family And Friends,

We have chosen a special way to say
thank you for sharing our wedding day with us.
In lieu of a traditional wedding favor
we have made a donation
in your honor to the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

We have chosen a special way to say
Thank You for sharing our wedding day with us.
In lieu of a traditional wedding favor
we have made a donation in your honor
to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society

it looks right to me. Wording wise i think it sounds just fine. as for capitalizing i think it's ok to just do the first letter of each sentence.. but i'm sure someone else could be of more help.
btw.. what a great favor!!!

That sounds good! We're doing a donation to the American Diabetes Society, and it has the nearly same wording, except it's like this (capitalization is the same as below):

To Our Family and Friends
We have chosen a special way to say
'Thank You' for sharing our wedding day with us.

In lieu of a traditional favor, we have
made a donation in your honor
to the American Diabetes Association

(extra wording)

We feel the finest gift is one which helps
others live longer and healthier lives.

We truly appreciate your being
part of our special day.
