I know for the wedding my and FH's names will appear as first and middle names, but wasn't sure if it should be the same for the engagement party invites or if we should include last names?? Or maybe just first names?
Also, is this wording pretty standard for an e-party invite? is the RSVP date enough time in your opinion?
THANKS!!
Please join us in celebrating the engagement of Jennie and Tommy on Saturday the 25th of June 4pm to 8pm [address] Please RSVP by June 4th to Tracey - [email] or [phone]

Re: wording on e-party invites
we did first names, and didn't include the word engagement and some of the 'older' folks thought it was the wedding invite, worst mistake on my party EVER! I didn't even think of it though because the invite was under 'engagement party invites' on weddingpaperdivas.com errrr

Re: wording on e-party invites
I wouldn't do first and middle, that makes it more wedding invitey...First and Last would be ok though because you're not married yet.
We are doing first names and I put our first and last names on the return address label since we live together.

Re: wording on e-party invites
i would use 1st and last, and middle only if its something normally used.
i know for special occastions my mom and fam always write my first and middle name on all my cards so for all our stuff i will be using both
but either way i would still use last names

Re: wording on e-party invites
i did first and last because if people give checks at least they can spell your last names correctly

Re: wording on e-party invites
I think if you are looking to go more formal, First and Middle name is best

Re: wording on e-party invites
Thanks ladies! I think I'm going to go with first and last.
I think it's kinda cute that it'll be the last time my maiden name will be used in a formal way for the invite!
And good point about the spelling for any possible checks!

Re: wording on e-party invites
I only put first names since the party is going to be a bbq in the park. I didn't make it formal and I didn't have an rsvp date either.
