wording on invitations-those who are paying for their wedding

Fh and I are paying for the entire wedding ourselves. My Mom is giving us money for the honeymoon, but technically it's not for the actual venue.

His parents are paying for our rehearsal dinner and will give us a gift.

For those of you who paid or are paying for the wedding yourselves, are you putting both of your parent's names on the invitations out of respect or leaving their names off completely? If you left them off completely were either side offended?

Personally, I don't think either parent's names should go on our invites since we are paying for our wedding ourselves 100%

We just put 'together with out parents'

That's exactly what we were thinking as well but wanted to get an idea of what other girls were doing. Thanks!

we're paying the entire wedding but i felt it was more respectful to list there names

we did

Mr. and Mrs. NAME
and
Mr. and Mrs. NAME

request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their children

We havent hit the invites yet...still working on big vendors, but my FH and I are also paying for everything ourselves. But, i do believe its more respecful to have the parents names on the invite. I'm not sure of actual wording, but all our parents will be on the invite somehow.

I don't really think it matters who pays, my parents are still 'giving me away'....as much as i hate that term lol...

We paid about 95% of our wedding ourselves, but out of respect for our parents we did:

Ms. _______
and
Mr & Mrs ________

request the honor of your presence at the marriage of thier children.

We went back and forth with the idea but we came to the conclusion that no our parents arent helping us pay for our reception and everything that goes with it, but we still wanted them to get that recognition.

Okay thanks girls.

I think we are going to put

Together with their parents OR With the blessings of their parents.

We're paying for the wedding ourselves

my parents gave us some money to use 'how we chose' (e.g. for our house, our wedding, etc.)

his parents are throwing our RD

we went with the wording this way even though we're paying for the whole wedding

that way everyone is included no one is offended, but it gets the point across that we're paying

Im not planning on it, we are doing it ourselves so our names should be the only ones on there. Plus, I realy don't like it with tons of text so since they were not paying it makes it easier.
