Wording question

I was thinking of using this for our reception card

Please join us for a dinner reception beginning with cocktail hour at seven o'clock in the evening

Thing is our cocktail hour is really 1.5 hours, does it matter?

Re: Wording question

Maybe say cocktails instead of cocktail hour? I think it's classier anyway.

Dont worry about the cocktail hour wording if you're just using the start time.
