They do them here however, I am one of the only females in my dept. It's definitely going to be funny having the guys put this thing together!

Same here.....at my old job, it was common place...bridal showers and baby showers, but all the people at my new job are all young and single and the last thing on their mind is doing a shower.

here, they pass around a card and envelop and everyone adds a few bucks, then then some people bring in food... funny thing is FH and I work on the same floor in totally different groups, but our groups work together and everyone know each other... curious how that is gonne work!

I am not feeling bad about not inviting most people from work... we would have to have another wedding reception just for them sicne we both work in 2 related groups.. it would be 150 more people (thats including their guest!!)... all i can say to that is HOW ABOUT NOOOOO!!!!!!

My office will send an e-mail out asking people to contribute money for a gift card and then they'll surprise me before the wedding with a cake and all....at least they've done that for most people!

My workplace keep showers. There are 2 of us on my floor getting married so i'm sure in April they are gonna keep a joint one for the both of us

None of the girls in my office had work showers, so I doubt I'll get one.

I don't think that'll be happening at my job..it isn't like a full time type of deal, so I doubt it.

I'm pretty sure I'm not having one. I don't think they throw bridal showers on construction sites when I work for an electrical company HAHA!
