Re: Working

as a matter of fact, as i look out my window while i type, i have quite a nice view of the projects right in front of me (across the narrow street)

i do love it though, im really not complaining, only when parents leave their kids

, When I wasn't working and I was a stay at home puppy mom: I was shopping at century 21 and overheard 2 women in the shoe dept, talk about how they need to take pills just to be able to deal w/ their kids, it makes me sad & angry to see that there are so many parents out there like this

lol I give you A LOT of credit for being an asst principal in a school like that. I don't think I'd be able to handle that, you definitely should get some kind of award. Maybe on our next 08 awards we can add best asst principal in the worst neighborhood that puts up with the most crap, youre a shoe in (sp?)

I know and the sad thing is if they really needed to be on those pills they wouldn't be discussing it with their friend in the middle of a dept store. It's so sad, some people should not be allowed to have kids if all they're going to do is complain about them. There are so many couples out there that can't have kids that would take care of their children without the use of drugs.

THANKS JESS!!!!!!!
To be honest, it is rough and i do deal with a lot emotionally and i dont forget about their problems when i go home - Its terrible - there are some really wonderful kids and parents and then some others that are SOOOOOO neglected that it is just too depressing to go into detail - i want to take them home with me!!!

ETA - It is not where you live, it is HOW you are RAISED -
