We didn't want brown ties and brown vests.......we were thinking of the classic burberry check tie, but a brown vest wouldn't go? any suggestions? is there a brown-ish burberry tie?
I have no idea. I am so bad at this stuff. That's why I just did black and white. LOL Sorry

I say dn't worry too much about matching them to the girls... Just so long as they go...........

No I am def doing black tuxes, thats not really the concern.
I was just wondering what combo vest/tie to do. my cousin just did brown vest brown tie ivory shirt black tux......I wanted to change it a bit and do a brown burberry tie (if they even make) with a brown vest.......OR the classic burberry tie with another color vest. I dont even know what color vest would go wtih the classic check?

I would worry about getting brown vests or anything like that, because unless the vest is made by the same designer as your BM dresses, than the shade will be off anyway. I think black and white with the burberry ties will bring it all together. But up to you girlie!!! Sorry I am not a big help.

Does the classic burberry tie go with brown BM dresses? like it doesnt have to be exact but does it go? would it look dumb together
I feel like it doesn't because of the black stripe in the classic check?

I wouldn't mix brown and black. I would probably put the guys in charcoal suits with rich brown shoes and belts. Then you can do anything with the ties.

i kind of agree...i'm not a fan of mixing the black w/ the brown, i like the idea of charcoal or grey suits...but it's your wedding, totally up to u!!

If you go to Nordstroms or maybe it's Saks (it's early and I'm old) they have a ton of Burberry ties in all colors. Or if you're feeling like making a trip up to Woodbury Commons the outlet has a bunch of Burberry ties.
And even though the girls are wearing brown the guys can still wear a black vest since their tuxes are black.
