I am SO lazy AND I dont really need to lose any weight, i just need to tone up (i weigh 131 and I am almost 5'6)
The wedding is in 30 days, would I be completely dreaming if I were to do 30-40 minutes of cardio per day, lets say for 4 days per week until the big day?
Thanks girlies

Re: Workout question
You can do cardio, but I would suggest weight training as well. I am 5'7 and a few more lbs heavier than you, so its possible.
I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week (was 4-5 times until I hit the 6 month mark) and I do a half hour of cardio and then weight train and once a week I take a cardio/ab class.
Since the wedding date is creeping closer, I find less time for the gym, so I find other ways to fit my workout in. I take the stairs at work (I work on the 5th floor), I will walk on my lunch hour in the park, and I park my car far in the parking lot so I will be forced to walk more.
I have definitely gotten more toned since I started 8 months ago, but I saw results probably a few months into it. I dont think you will be exactly ripped by your wedding, but you will be a little tighter.
Good luck!

Re: Workout question
you can do cardio.. everyone should, but to tone.. you should def do weight training.. not sure if you want to spend any money, but NYSC has bride personal training program or just go to the weight classes (like total body conditioning or cardio kickboxing)

Re: Workout question
That's not unreasonable. I basically have been doing that for the past 4 years. It's not that hard as long as you have the motivation, the room in your schedule and you get yourself to the gym. I find that going after work makes it easier for me because if I have to get up earlier to go to the gym, it ain't happening.

Re: Workout question
It is reasonable to do 30-40 minutes of cardio 4 days a week but you should also incorporate some strength training to tone and get some muscle definition.
