I am sure that many many years ago people developed much earlier to perpetuate the human race I am thinking about times when humans only lived 20-25 years or so. But 4 years old in the 1900's seems really far fetched.

I'm not certain if its true, but I have heard of cases, I think in some parts of Puerto Rico, where there are young girls (age 4or 5 yrs) that have had their periods and have developed breasts, etc... I have also seen a news report from a Spanish news program that looks into oddities, etc... in different parts of the world, primarily in South America I think, where an 8 or 9 year old girl was raped and found to be pregnant. Dont know if she had the baby though, but I know there was some controversy between the family of the girl and the Church regarding terminating the pregnancy.
