Well girls. I booked my makeup trial a few wks ago after having a trial w/ Mia b/c i really liked the way it came out. I took some pics on my camera and got the pics back the other day and they look AWFUL!!!! My friend thought so too.
I loved the look in 'real life' but was SO GROSS in the pics (and there were like 4 pics so it was def. not just one pic that was bad).
What should i do?

What about meeting with her and discussing what you don't like in the pictures? If you booked with her already I'm sure she'll work with you.

I cant post them bc they are reg. pics from a reg. camera. i would have to go to my parents to scan them. i just looked at them again and theyre HORRID!!!!

Kris didnt see it or the pics. But my friend was w/ me when i picked up thepics and she agreed that it was pretty bad. W T F ???

Could it just be the lighting? That can make a real difference, and with a professional photographer, you won't have to worry about that aspect.

that's a tough one.....I totally know what you mean though - some of the hair and mu trials i had looked totally different in pics.
i agree that you should talk to her - tell her what your concerns are....say you want to try a different look.

I know you said you didn't like them but was it any details in particular? I had my trial this past week and loved it in person but in the pics I thought some of the eye make-up loked way too dark. I think it is worse in some pics than in others, too (and I had like 25 pics!) so I think lighting can make a HUGE difference and also the camera.
I emailed her and said how I loved the trial in person but expressed my concerns about the pictures I saw after the fact. I did love everything else in the pics so I'm gonna see if she recommends another trial or if it's something we can play with day of...good luck and let us know what you decide!

Definitely contact her and express your concerns. I would also meet with her to show her the pics.

I would say set up another trial...and go over the things you didnt like.
I had the same problem with my hair, but had a second trial..and OMG, i am sooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My pictures after a trial with her came out TERRIBLE, both regular pictures and digital. Thats why I went with someone else.
