worried

last June my nephew got married, and my aunt and her four children rsvp yes along w/ there husband and wives, well my cousins wife planned a 40th b-day party for him the same day as the wedding, so non of them showed, so my sister wrote a nasty letter to my aunt and it started family problems. I totally stayed out of it. my gram was very mad over this, now the problem, non of them rsvp to my wedding, not even my gram. do I call them my deadline is quickly approaching. and I would be sad if they are not there. and my aunt is my god mother. my aunt did show for my shower, but really did not speak to anyone. I am starting to feel so down over all this. and my gram brought the letter up to my dad again.and he was not even aware my sister did this he was in the hospital at the time, he was not even at the wedding, what should I do?

Re: worried

I would call if they do not RSVP by the deadline. family drama happens and at some point family's have to move on...mabye your wedding will bridge the gap. In the very least you'll know whether to count them or not.

I would call and tell your Aunt that you want her there. Maybe they haven't RSVP'd b/c they aren't sure if they are really welcome as opposed to doing it to be difficult you know?
Family tension *****, and I'm sorry it's affecting your day.
Definitely give her a call just to let her know you want her there, if she still doesn't show, at least you know you tried.
