Just wondering if anyone is worried about how your look is going to come together the day of the wedding. I have:
A lace dress with small crystals on the top
Veil with very small scattered crystals
pearl necklace
pearl earrings
pearl/crystal headpiece
What if I put that all together and hate the combo? Does anyone else think about this? What is your combo?

Re: Worried about your 'look'
i think this is one of the biggest concerns every bride has so dont worry, its only normal.
What i did:
duchess satin dress with crystals
no necklace
crystal chandellier earrings
crystal bracelet
small crystal head piece
simple veil with just satin edge, cathedral and elbow length
hair mostly down, just bangs pulled back
eta: if you hate the combo, you can always change something or maybe take 1 thing away

Re: Worried about your 'look'
It sounds like it will all look fabulous.
My 'look' is all crystals and rhinestones. No pearls. My gown is VERY detailed, all over. Then I plan to get a fingertip veil with crystal trim. My DOJ and head piece will also be rhinestones.
I'm not personally a pearl girl. I prefer rhinestones and glitz

Re: Worried about your 'look'
This is something I keep thinking about. Both my look with what I'm wearing and the look of the weeding. When I worked as a special event planner for Disney we always talked about the look and theming and making sure it looked cohesive,

you probably didn't start your fittings yet, but when you do, bring EVERYTHING that way you can see it all together!!

Thats exactly what I was going to say. I have a dress with sparkly beads on it, very delicate.
I dont knowif I will wear my moms pearls, or my diamond drop neclace, or nothing.
No bracelet. Tiny diamond drop earrings.
Im keeping it simple. But I wont know untill the fittings so they can tell me what to do.

Re: Worried about your 'look'
as said before...if you don't like something then you can add and take away from your look. that's the fun part my look: Dress: lace and beading Hair: mostly down slightly waved comb on one side Jewelry: Peal earrings maybe a pearl necklace (have to see it all together) pearl and crystal bracelet (when i find one that i like) Veil: Mantilla style
if i don't like something i will change it... piece of cake

I agree! I had my first fitting last Thurs. and I brought everything - and good thing I did cause I HATED the bracelet I bought - loved everything else. Back to the drawing board!

Re: Worried about your 'look'
I worry about it all the time.
Here's my combo:
Trumpet cut dress with crystals Mantilla veil with crystals Most likely no necklace Stud earrings with crystals Bangle bracelet with crystals
If you're worried about your combo, you should have all your jewelry and your veil with you when you go for your final fitting so you can see how everything comes together. This way you can change anything you don't like.

Re: Worried about your 'look'
I've thought about this too. I wonder how all the accessories will look together. My dress is a lace sweetheart with pearl beading and all of my accessories (Veil, bracelet, earrings, necklace, hair piece) were brought to bring out the pearls on my dress. If you are really worried, I'd try on the dress with all the accessories before hand to see how it looks.
