The only places that ever said that they would charge me for an outside CH were in Las Vegas, so ridiculous!!! As far as RHs that treat people like royalty, try Westbury manor!!!!

I liked this place alot it was the first place i truly liked enough to book and be excited about. SO i'm pissed that the feeling was ruined by such ...... I can't even find the word..... I am a Crest Hollow bride (to be)...and I wasn't treated like ______....but I did question some of the motives upon leaving there. My BM, which is Mark, did the same thing about calling their 'boss' to make sure they can do certain things, boy did that piss my parents off! I believe its a trick to get people to believe that they are working hard on their behalf or getting them a 'steal!'
Also, the CH fee is real...they told us the same thing! But Mark said that we can use our bargaining power to get the fee down! Also, my wedding is a saturday night in July and my minimum is 125. So Leo, was definitely lying! And I don't blame you for walking out! They just lost money, and you would think that they are aware of how many other RH's on Jericho Turnpike! It's sad that businesses no longer care about money...what is their driving factors to stay open?

WOW...in these economic times...you'd think business people...especially in such a competitive industry like the wedding industry, would have a little more coothe & tact...the person obviouslY has no respect for others & himself. I would find out who the OWNER is & write a nice LONG letter explaining IN DETAIL as to why you are NOT choosing CHCC as your venue for your wedding...believe me...the more people speak up, the more things will start to change, the more people stay silent, the more the will stay the same... I am so very sorry this guy treated you like garbage ...he forgot the #1 customer service golden rule: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!

I am a CH bride on a saturday in may. I am having an outdoor c-hour and have the $500 fee. They said if it rains and it has to be inside we get that $ back. My minimum is 150. Im sorry for your bad experience, i worked with thomas and he was great! I had trouble getting everyone i wanted to see the place come at one time so i made 3 trips there to be shown around (Me, parents, and FH and they were very nice every time. I would deff call about what happened to you!

Sometimes these BMs have off days, but it is still no excuse. I met with Leo over there and FH didn't like his 'vibe' amongst other things. They did not mention a fee for an outdoor CH. I had an experience like that at Westbury Manor. The BM kept undermining FH and I and saying 'when are your parents showing up' and 'do you need to check with your parents'. I was done!

I am so sorry you had to deal with that idiot!! And 120 is NOT a small wedding...we had 100 and were treated very well at our RH....don't worry, you will find 'the one.' Consider this experience a belssing in disguise...what if you had already booked and then had problems?

I wonder if the first BM you met with doesn't get along with the second one you met with. I've noticed at some of these places that they try to make the first person you met with look bad by telling you that half the things they told you weren't true. I know it probably sounds crazy, but sometimes I think when we're looking at these places they get annoyed if you previously met with someone else at the hall, it seems like they would have rather you met with the same person again.

my sister in law had a party there , the guest list was 350 people, and her manager was Sharon, who was great. Not sure why you had that experience, if u like crest hollow, u might also like woodbury country club, literally right down the block did you check it out by any chance?

As a Riviera Bride.. I'm partial... and we never looked at CHCC... but I will totally agree..Victoria is amazing and if you choose to go there - she will make you 100% comfortable!

Wow.. Some people are just a**holes.
We had the exact same experience at El Caribe, except we guaranteed at least 200-250 people. The guy was a jerk, and kept telling us everything we did NOT want to hear. 'Yes, you're going to bump into another bride, as a matter of fact, you'll be sharing a bridal suite with her..'.. After we left that place.. I was so disgusted with the way they treated us, I wanted to just give up searching and elope.
I'm sorry this happened to you, but keep your head high.. it's just a small bump in the road of wedding planning. Good luck

just read through this now. it ***** to meet with some of these people who are such aholes or even just ignorant.
i will say this though,when i looked there 2 years ago the $500 CH fee was there and when my bro got married there 7 years ago, that $500 CH fee was there. it's nothing new. and no, they won't guarantee where you will be getting married there b/c it is weather pending and considering 3 or 4 other weddings are going on at the same time, that factors in too. too chancy for me
