Re: worst moment of BM drama
i guess this is kind of related... but when i told one of my 'friends' that she is not a BM she FLIPPPPPPPED out and said that she cant promise me she's not going to flip out about this in the future... then she openly lied about why she couldnt come to our e-party & she totally ignores e-mails that i send out asking for certain advice on different things im thinking of doing for the wedding
i mean, i totally understand she's probably hurt that shes not in my wedding, but COME ON, we're 25 years old - act like an adult about it!
ETA: i email her along with all our other friends both in and not in the wedding party.... i realized that it might seem like i purposly email her and only her lol not the case at all

A BM dropped out because of something truthful that I wrote on here. I have since learned to sensor myself.

Re: worst moment of BM drama
Well ALL of my BMs ordered their dresses EXCEPT for one of them and now the dresses came in already and she still hasnt ordered hers. I understand there is time BUT what if the dress gets discontinued or something? Ive decided that I am going to mention it once some time this week and thats it. If she doesnt order it or if and when she does its discontinued, then she just wont be in my wedding. Im not going to get aggravated over it. Her husband will still be in the wedding party, so oh well.
Oh and I know it cant be the money b/c they are going away next month to AC and staying at the Borgata and the dress is only $185

Do you mind me asking which religion? I know in Catholic Church only one god parent has to be catholic. so maybe her world won't be coming to an end!

Re: worst moment of BM drama
no real drama yet.. only thing that really got to me was, I have had a friend since we were like 5. and over the years she has seemed to lose interest in our friendship, but I was fine with that. People get older, there schedules change, she moved. we didnt have as much time to hang out.
But we still remained friendly, talked often and when I got engaged she seemed really supportive. So i was going to ask her to be one of my BMs and it meant a lot to me.
I was going to ask her at our engagement party, but she couldnt make it. (she had a hair appointment ) so i figured ok.. Ill ask her another time.
Fast forward to 4 months later and we have not said one word to eachother.
so i decided to not ask her.. to avoid drama of her possibly backing out.

oh, it's gonna come... I can feel it. My sis (MOH) I THINK is going to ask the BM's to help throw the shower b/c my dad was laid off and she doesn't want my mom to have to pay so much. They are FH's 2 sisters so hopefullly it's not much drama. I'm SURE all hear about it somehow though.

Re: worst moment of BM drama
So far, no problems with my BMs.... but I see that the complete lack of motivation to help or give an opinion about anything of one of my fsil may turn into a little drama...

I am in a similar situation. My BF and I have been friends since were 3 -- 27 years of friendship. Last year something happened (still not sure what) but we barely speak and never see each other. We e-mail once in a while (usually initiated by me) and I send her son bday and xmas gifts and I always get a thank you in return. Now my Grandfather passed away a month ago and she made the 21/2 ride up from south jersey to come to his wake. I know that alone isn't grounds for asking her to be in the BP but 27 years is hard to just walk away from. Oh and to boot her DH and my FH don't really like each other.
So she is one that I am stressing over.

Re: worst moment of BM drama
The only drama I have had so far is that one of my bridesmaids dropped out. Thankfully it was in the beginning before we orered dresses so it really didn't cause too much stress...it was just a little disappointing.

Her dress might end up being a different shade because it will be from a different dye lot
