First I called a cab to get to the LIRR, i called an hour ahead of time and they were 30 mins late so i missed my 7:41am train, but made the 8:10...I get to the path, get on the train and 2 mins later they said theres power outages on the path and they will update us...I bumped into someone else from work and we waited about an hour on the path and then they announce service is suspended...We decide to walk down to the ferry, we get there and its PACKED!!!!the line to get tickets was insane, we waited an hour, the dock to get tickets from was moving so much, i have a headache now...my feet are completely soaked and so are my pants..so yeah i have to be at work at 8:30 and came in at 11:10, took me 4 hours to get to work. Ok im done with my vent

I know they are the worst...The funny thing is on saturday the day of my e-party i got my hair done in the city so after took a cab to FH's house, well it was 4:30 and apparently all cabs switch shifts at that time so NOBODY was taking me, waited forever then finally some guy stopped but didnt want to drive me to queens until i begged and told him it was my e-party, he felt bad so took me, but on the way to his house we got hit by a car and surprisingly it wasnt the cabs fault at all
yea i was fine. i can't believe that.. some cab drivers are cool as hellll but others are just idiots.
i'm glad everything AFTER that accident went fine for your e-party!!!

wow that is great, at least you can relax before the party...I decided to do edible favors so had to pick them up the night before and package them all then, plus the wine came in the night before and had to do those.

oh everybody knows, there were 4 of us who came in at that time...everyone else comes in at 7:30 am so they had no problem...Everybody was asking us questions when we walked in lol

Ohhhh sorry to hear that, I know how you feel because I take the NYC subway system and there is always a problem getting to work. Thats why today I took off from work, I didnt want to deal with the drencing rain and I just needed a day off. Heres a hug , have a good day!!!!

I didn't know we were expecting that storm. I got in @ 9:20, & they were po-ed.

Well if you feel better then you can go if not then dont worry about you have plenty of time...if not just have a real nice relaxing time at home...rent a movie, order in stay in bed under the covers, i love nights like that sometimes.

I hear you on that. I was stuck on the Jackie Robinson for 45 mins with my car in park because there was a car on fire. I was an hour and 20 mins later for work. It was outta control.
