worth $200??

OK, i went to lillettes a few weeks ago and one of the saleswomen showed me these awesome ballet flats (they have a teeny-tiny wedge heel).. she never told me the price but i've been searching the web for them since..


so i found them.. they're $199! for flats! Do you think it's worth it? I mean they're the only shoes i'll be wearing the whole day..

Are they any particular brand? If not, I'd say no. I bought my shoes from Shoe Elegance in Lynbrook. They were about $70. They also have a great selection.

If you absolutely love them and haven't found anything else that you like, I would get them. You only buy your wedding shoes once!!!

I think David's Bridal has something similar much much cheaper I would continue looking before spending $200 on them.

I think they are so cute! If they are the only ones you will be wearing all day than i would get them .... but im a sucker for shoes =)

I just looked it up. It looks like the stones are actually Swarovski crystals. If so, then yes $200 is a good price. BUT, if you're not a Swarovski snob like I am ( ), and you don't absolutely LOVE them, I'd keep looking. I'm sure you could find something similar for cheaper too (if you want to).

i dont think flats are worth it for $200 unless they're a specific brand. i think you should try to find something similar for less.

u cant put a price on comfort and on something u LOVE.


me personally, if i feel those shoes were being sold at payless for 15$ no1 would buy them, same with most of the bridal shoes.. its just when these stores mark these shoes to a ridiculous amount , then ppl are 'dying ' to get them. its human nature.

i would not pay 200$ for them but if YOU like them get them.


also, just because they are flat, doesnt mean they are comfortable. so just keep that in mind.

i would buy a pair of less expensive heels and a cheap pair of flats to have for the day of.

I think that is a bit much for flats. Also, the back heel looks hard and uncomfortable like it would dig in to you. I think you should keep searching, but if you LOVE those then go for it!!

I think there is nothing more important than wearing shoes that are comfortable and that you love.

No way would I spend that much...I'm probably going to wear flats as well, but for less than half that price hopefully.

they look cute but i personally wouldnt think of paying 200 for them.

on the other hand i have my eye on those cole haan/nike bridal shoes that cost $400 so i shouldnt talk!

You can probably find very similar ones for less. If you have been looking to no avail, then I would just get them. If you have the money to spare then whatever.

Being that you're wearing them once and that's it, no def not. I wouldn't pay over 100 for flats. Plus, I'm assuming you're wearing them under your gown so noone's even going to see them.

If you'd wear them again I'd say go for it if not don't spend $200 on shoes no one will probably see and splurge on something else.
