WOTY

OK, this is going to be a stupid question....but I keep seeing pictures that are titled WOTY....can someone tell me what this is?? Is it an actual wedding??

It is like a mock wedding that LIW hosts. They pick a LIW couple who was already married.

You have to purchase tickets to go. They have all different LIW vendors that participate and do the music, favors, flowers. They give out prizes as well.
I believe it's every January.

I don't know how much they cost, but i know they're raffeled off because basically everyone wants to go... and it sometimes turns into a war over who gets tickets. (You should need 500 posts to be eligible, you should need 1000 posts to be eligible, NO YOU NEED A MILLION) lol

Newlyweds get to submit a video entry to be the wedding couple and the bridal party. It seems very cute and like alot of fun.

They were $35 each. They only had 200 tickets so if you were interested you would send all your info to them & they picked 200 people out of all the entries. I went in January. It was a lot of fun. I got to meet all the lovely 2012 ladies I was talking to for months & it was like a full out wedding. I saw centerpieces that I liked & the vienesse hour was AMAZING!!!!! They also did a bunch of giveaways & I won $1000 there for being the 100th person to sign up (or something like that lol )

I also went and it was a great time. It is basically a full out wedding but you spend alot less money to go since no gifts, etc!

They change the rules every year. This year you needed to have 231 posts to be eligible to get tickets. The year before you needed 100 so it is unknown what you will need this year.
