i have a shower i have to go to ( i am one of the BM's ) and i was thinking i wanted to make a basket of stuff...would you like either of these?
BBQ Basket - with things for the grill and outside stuff like BBQ set, pitcher and cups for outside, maybe marinades, utensil caddy, etc...all packed in a cooler
Honeymoon basket - things like travel stuff..lotions, aloe, sunscreen...just married flip flops...beach bag, newlywed shirts, etc
i was thinking maybe getting a custom cooler like this and filling it

They are both great ideas. But, as the others have said, I think the bbq one is more unique.

bbq! imo the honeymoon stuff is more a personal pref for lotions etc
Honestly, I'm a registry kind of girl...but my backstory is that we need EVERYTHING, neither of us have ever lived away from home, so for me, I'd probably have a slight glimmer of disappointment no matter how cool the gift is if it wasn't something we desperately needed to survive on our own.
That being said though, if I was not in my current situation and had the luxury of being able to enjoy cutesy gifts more, I'd totally prefer the BBQ basket, we love to BBQ!

they are both cute but I think the BBQ one is different and the FH will be THRILLED ! It kinda keeps him in mind too and I think that is awesome ! Go for the BBQ!!!! Very nice idea !!!

i think they sound great! i'd love to get those as shower gifts! actually i've been to showers where the bridesmaids each make a basket based on a theme (holidays, sesons, honeymoon, etc.) and i think they're awesome!...i like the idea so much that i told my sisters that they should think about doin it for my shower

my moms boyfriend for our shower gift did a outside basket...I mean my mom made it up he just paid....It was sooo nice he got us 6 plastic wine glasses martha stewart, rubber coaster, placemats, 2 bottles of wine, straws and some other things I cant remembe but it was nice....One of my good firends also made me a basket for the honeymoon with a coverup necklace lotins sunglasses and hat it was soo nice to..I love when ppl take the time to make somethign bc it is like you care more about that person
