the bomb has missed a few presents on my end.

our anni most recently.

bday in '05, and maybe 2 or 3 over the years.

I understand why you would be upset. it's not the gift itself, but the time/thought NOT put in. it makes me feel insignificant sometimes, but then too needy and annoying when I say something. it suks.

I hope Victor is kidding with you. it's a special time in your life right now. I hope you get your camera.

I am crying right now.
.

baby, don't cry...........

funnnily enough, my bday last year was probably the only 'surprise' bday gift I ever got from him. completely unexpected....especially since we had only been married 2 weeks or so. and it was not a good time.

so, what are you going to order for dinner? eggplant parm? or are still carniwhoring it up?

Agreed, we wil;l wait, and cry tomorrow.

Total carniv.
You would be proud- Last night, I made a chicken pot pie- almost from scratch (store bought pie crust).
And then I ate it. And it was delish.
I hear the penne ala vodka is good there, so that may be dinner.

It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to

I am planning on making that this winter...the chicken pot pie. I don't hold the pie crust against you.

I make a pretty good penne ala vodka.

I beleive both of those things.
I like to cook from recipes, but they always take so long. I think I could make this again in half the time.
We ate at like 9PM.

Re: Would I be an unreasonable greedy ho bag if

9pm is our usual dinner time. seriously.

lately I've been trying to get it done earlier b/c we've been working on the apt (see my gym lament) and haven't been doing much else.

tonight I gave the kitchen over to my MIL so we can get more stuff done.

the first time with a recipe is definitely the hardest. after that, you know how to tweak it...to make it yours, and it definitely cuts down on the time.

you'll never buy the box ones again.

So true. And I am funny, because I can not shut up about it's success. Whilke it was cooking, I'm yelling about how good it smells in the kitchen, all home made and junk. Then when it was done, I made Victor go look at it.
Then while we ate it, I kept telling him how good it was.

pardon Toi...I was referring to when we are the OP...and complaining about something that ends up not being the case.

not the glorious friends that are usually right in saying that we are wrong and to wait for the facts
