you mean address it on the outer envelope rather than the inner... i think its a personal preference!
like some of them will just have mr& mrs on the outer envelope
the single people who I am inviting with guest will have it on the inner envelope
but if they are married and living together they will only be addressed on the outer...

I am leaving mine blank. The less crap on the envelopes, the better. Simplicity is elegance.

some of mine were left blank because FH didn't want to find out the names of his coworkers wives, so those were left blank. But for non married guests we did John & Guest on the inner envelope

yeah its totally a personal preference... if its not necessary to address the innver envelope then why bother....
