for FH's grandparents to walk down the aisle together even though they aren't from the same parent? (Meaning his dad's dad walking with his mom's mom)
No other grandparents on either my side or his are living, and we really want these two to walk down the aisle. However, we aren't really sure what the other options are...walking alone isn't an option. His grandma really can't walk down the aisle alone.

I may be wrong but I see nothing wrong with it! I think it is a nice thing to have the walk together.

If they are OK with it, I think you should let them. The other option is having another family member walk them down

I don't think it's weird at all. They are both FH's grandparents. I actually think it's kind of nice to have different sets walk together. It shows you are one family and close.

if not you could always have an user walk g-ma and g-pa walks alone

Re: Would it be weird
my brother and sil had HER grandmother walk down with MY grandfather... they walked down together and separated at the alter and took their seats on opposite sides. then they walked into the reception together. it was really sweet.
