Would this annoy you too?

I just got my STD magnets in the mail (ordered them from ebay) and the wording is as follows:

Dina Smith and
Evan Jones
will join hands
in marriage
august 19, 2006

instead of

Dina Smith
and
Evan Jones
will join....blah blah

this irritates the heck out of me, FH is just aggravated that it took this lady so long to ship it out in the first place and wants to send them out b4 its too close to the wedding, but i think they look stupid this way and want to send them back to be fixed. what do you guys think? FH thinks i'm starting to become a bit of a bridezilla

yeah, that the 'and' isn't in it's own line but just dangling like a little turd next to my name

i agree...if you send them back and she takes long again, you might as well just send out the invitations! keep them, no one will really notice...

I really would not stress about it at all. To tell you the truth I had to read it a few times before I noticed anything 'wrong'. It looks fine, no one will notice. And your wedding is close enough that you might not want to risk having to wait any longer. Don't worry about it.

If you have the time and it really bothers you see if you can send them back, but I think every one is going to get the idea to save the date. If it was your invitation I would say def. send it back. My STD's were a disaster. I sent them out and a few were returned to sender, so I opened them. And the dark silver color had bled all over the white part. It looked really terrible and I was so humilated! But every one told me to find another thing to stress over.

I would totally send them back.....thats not what you paid for so make her correct them.

My STD place sent me an e-mailed proof first... did your person do that? That would have helped. I drove the woman who did mine CRAZY making changes... but it was just the changes to the e-mailed proof, so she really didn't mind. (favorlady.com... AWESOME!)

If she's willing to do them over, then do it. (I'm a perfectionist like you, too). You would have a beef if the way you originally put it in your order to her had the 'and' on a separate line.

If it's too late, I wouldn't worry. It's fine the way it is.

It would annoy me too, but i'm anal like that. Send them back if you can and if you have time. If not, it is ok, it is only a STD, not an invite, then I'd be really pissed!

It would make me nuts. At this point however you are so close to the wedding date you should either send them out as is, or try to get a refund and skip them.

Not everything this go perfect, so try not to stress. I always say to pick your battles. I wouldn't worry about this one... no body will know the difference. I am sure they're beautiful.

and that annoyed me to NO end!!!

I was beyond pissed and made a HUGE fuss about them so if they were my STD's yes I would send them back and make a huge fuss about it

I totally understand where you're coming from. It would annoy the crap out of me too. One question though....did you tell her exactly how you wanted the text laid out on the STD? If not, you may not have the ability to change them without having to pay again. Although, if she wants to keep her Ebay feedback positive she should do anything to keep you happy.
