I'm not too thrilled about running around CT for 3 days with thousands of dollars of tips on me... and I have no clue when I'd have time to go to a bank...
Do you think it would be ok to just give my vendors a check for their tip? I don't really see what the difference would be, right?

I wouldn't. If you give them a check, they ultimately get taxed on that. Tips shouldn't be taxed.

Can you give it to your parents to hold for you? Or does the hotel you are staying in have a safe you cna put it in so you dont have to carry it aroundwith you?
