One of my BMs camera's was stolen at my wedding. I feel awful about it but there's really nothing I can do. Anyway, every time I see her she brings up how someone stole her camera at my wedding. I already apologized profusely and told her it bothers me that she brings it up all the time b/c I don't want her to remember my wedding as the wedding where her camera was stolen. I get an e-mail 2 seconds ago with this:
i love my new camara...there are hardly any redeye in it....i have some a$shole at jess's wedding to thank for that..hahaha
It's driving me nuts!!

DH and I once had the Ipod stolen out of the car from valet. We never even told the couple actually so they don't know.

yeah seriously what is the need to email so many people about it. Its her fault, if you leave your things unattended it can happen. Yes it would be nice if it didn't, its happened to me when i did this and nobody took anything but doesn't always happen this way.
Next time she says anything just say , well hope now you learned your lesson not to leave things unattended.
No offense but if you dont pay attention to these things then its your fault and have to be a bit more smart about this.

great point, when i thought about this thread, I immediately thought of everyone i know who lost something while drunk. Its funny how some dont learn their lesson though and feel the need to blame it on someone else. Oh yeah its not your fault that you got so drunk you forgot where you put your belongings and left it out god knows where, and others saw that this camera has been laying there for a long time, and just give others the opportunity to take it

annoying....the dj made the announcement...the camera didnt turn up....its like ok u know so no need to cont bringing it up...especially now that she has a new one.
unfortunately stuff gets stolen all the time...even when u think ure at a 'safe' place. the thing each person has to remember is...ure responsible for your own stuff...dont just leave it around for someone to take. and know if ure going to leave it...dont blame anyone but yourself.
