Would this neckalce match my dress?

I wasn't going to wear a necklace-- but FMIL bought this for me at CHristmas time-- Maybe I should wear it if it matches

What do you think?

Is your embroidery gold? Is the chain part of the necklace gold? sorry for the questions, just hard to tell. If yes to both, then I think it would look good with your dress. BUT, only wear it if you LOVE it.

That was a nice gift for her to give you, but if it's not your taste, OR if it's not what you envisioned as your wedding day necklace, then I would keep looking.

It's very pretty though

yeah--it's not my dream necklace or anything-- I just thought maybe it would be a nice thing to do for her--- but you're right-- If i'm not in love with it -then I should keep looking

I like it, but will you wear earrings for the day too. Would they match?. Definitely try it on with the dress, that's the only way you'll know for sure.

I think it's pretty. It doesn't really stand out which could be good if you just want something there but if you want to make a statement or be more dramatic you should look fo something else. I haven't thought of jewlery yet, I need to start.

I really like it and I think it would look great with your dress... you have a lot of detailing, on top, so I don't really think you need to go big and bold.

I agree. I do think it's very pretty though. Maybe you could wear it for the RD, if it matches your outfit for that?

If the embroidery on your dress has a gold tone (instead of silver - can't tell from the pic), then the necklace would go. However, I think that your dress is 'dressier' than that necklace. Does that make sense?

Very pretty. Try it on with the dress.
Personally I think it is subtle enough to be seen around your neck but not in a way that will overwhelm to beautiful beading on your bodice.
Are those pearls on the bodice ?

I'm wearing the same dress. I think you could get away with not wearing any necklace, if that's what you wanted. The bodice has a lot of detail so you wouldn't want to take away from that with a necklace.
