Would you.....?

Would you.....?

go to a Christening of people who snubbed me for my shower? They did not attend and never sent a gift. They are freinds of my FH who I think only call him or invite him when cash gifts/ presents are involved. Never get a call on a fri/sat night when people are getting together. What would you do?

It is really up to you...but if you want to go I would get the baby a bond....and you don't have to spend that much money. People are just rude but sometimes you can't go to their level.

I don't think people who don't attend the shower and don't send a gift are snubbing you. If that were so, I know a lot of snubbers!

Thats what FH said. I just hate constatnly being used. This couple called him last week because he is a computer tech and they needed their computer fixed. Yet, they never invited us over that same night when everyone else went over!

nah. Not unless you really want to go. I wouldn't feel obligated.

it doesnt sound like you really want to go...so dont feel obligated...you can easily be busy or sick

a bond is a good idea if you do go

I you don't want to go, don't. I agree that you should not feel obligated. I know people like this-unfortunately. Whether you go or not, it will not change them.

Judging from the way you're describing the situation, it doesn't seem like you want to go. I wouldn't go if I feel the way you do about these people.

I say pass....a huge event in your life isn't important enough for them....I am sure you have better things to do!
