Re: Would you...
I'm sorry, but I wouldn't.
I know my BMs though, and what they can afford, and that's out of their price range.
Or, can you see if you can find a similar color/style elsewhere?
The girls on this board have photographic memories for dresses (I'm lookin' at you, Espo!). Try posting a pic of the dress here, and we can tell you if we've seen something similar by another designer.

Re: Would you...
Honestly, I wouldn't. I really don't expect them to spend that much on a bm dress for my wedding but I also know some of my bm's don't have that much to spend so that's why I'm trying to keep the bm dresses in a reasonable price range.

Re: Would you...
Its a nice dress, but I would not be able to ask my bm's to spend that much money. My limit was $200 and I think my dresses will be about $175.

Re: Would you...
I think I paid that much (or maybe less??) when I was a BM for my friends wedding, the dress was beautiful so I didnt mind and I can use it again and again

Re: Would you...
I would do everything I could to find something else, maybe something similiar from a different designer. but in the end, if it was the only thing I loved, maybe. I have paid it before and would do it again, I would just make sure I am doing everything I can to make it cost effective first!!!

Re: Would you...
The dress is very pretty. I have paid more than that for bm dresses for weddings so it's really up to you. Do you think all of your girls will be able to afford it?
I'm sure if you keep looking you can find something like it that is less expensive. Good luck!

Re: Would you...
I wouldn't want them to pay that much eve if they could wear it again. If it was something I really liked, I would supplement the costs to make it more reasonable for them. But, then still give them a BM gift. (not supplement as the gift- make sense) JMO.
Check w. your BMs though- see what they think.

Re: Would you...
I have paid more than that more than once
my SIL used a Vera Wang and it was over $300
my sister got married ten years ago and her dress was over $200
honestly, i just did it. . . i never questioned - maybe complained a bit but never to the bride
i wanted to keep my dresses under $200 but they are $220. . . .

Re: Would you...
I just ordered my dress from bridal elegance and the prices by far beat anything that I had seen before!!!!! What I would do also is maybe put money toward the dress instead of a gift, especially if they couldn't afford that much I'm sure they would appreciate it more
