Would you be ANGRY?

Re: Would you be ANGRY?

I'm in a bachelorette party dilema too...my Fsis in law can't make the party. I was so upset b/c she didn't think it was as important as I did. My BM also said she might not be able to come b/c of money (but she manages to fly to Boston 2x a monthto visit her BF). So, I'm upset that I'm not important enough for them. But, what can you do. Express your feelings and see what their excuse is...

Good luck, I feel your pain!

I don't think they are wrong. I think that they are allowed to go on vacation if they want. You get to get married and go on a two week vacation so them wanting one isn't a big deal. Aruba is WAY more expensive than Miami. They may have thought that Miami was a good idea but upon further inspection they may not have been able to take their own vaca if they did that as a bachelorette party.

I think that realizing that the girls weekend does not include you is a big deal. But they are not excluding you, they are planning their life in the middle of the biggest year of yours! They probably know that you can't afford to do both but don't want to make you feel bad.

Don't be upset with them!

I would be extremely upset and angry. I would be upset because my two best friends planned a trip without even inviting me AND angry because they obviously made up that they couldn't afford Miami. It sounds likes like they couldn't afford Miami because they secretly were planning Aruba. That's hurtful not to be included. It would have been nice of them to invite you as a bachelorette party gift (which you'd still pay for yourself). Have you been demanding towards them? That's the only explanation that would justify them needing to relax without you. Otherwise, they are selfish. And, if they think they are meeting men in Aruba, instead of Miami, good luck with that.

i really wouldnt care to tell you the truth, like someone else said, they DO have their own lives and it is your wedding - not theirs - they are free to do as they please

i would however, be annoyed at their reasoning - i mean, we could all use a vacation - but im sure it would have been nice to all go together

I would be pissed too. They should be taking you along to Aruba as a part of your bachelorette party at the very least.
