I wouldn't be mad.... If it was your wedding gown, I would be mad, but China and Bedding... maybe she just has the same taste as you.

take is as a compliment- and don't show her to many details about your wedding
for your own sanity...

I wouldn't be mad at all! I would be flattered!
My sister got married a few yrs ago and i am registering for some of the same stuff as she did......
Why wouldn't I? She did the research prior to and has had good experience with the quality....

Re: would you be mad?
sorry, but i'd be a bit annoyed if she did it after knowing what i was registering for. she could have at least given you a heads-up.
then again, i'm a bit on the defensive with stuff like this lately. my friend's sil's now fiance proposed to her at same location & in same way that my friend's fi proposed to her, they are looking at same location that my friend got married at, same vendors and all that jazz. ridiculous.

Ok, so I know I'm gonna sound like a bridezilla but...
Oh hell yeah I'd be pissed!!!
I'd feel like telling her to find her own style/taste.

whatever, if she wants to copy you, let her. THey say imitation is the best form of flattery. or something like that.

Re: would you be mad?
I'll be honest with you, before I regitered,I walked into Fortunoff saying 'I will not get Opal innocence because EVERYONE has it' but ten I got to thinking that EVERYONE is NOT in my family and I got it anyway. In your case, I would be a bit perturbed but certainly not enough to make a thing out of it.

Re: would you be mad?
thank-you again ladies! i think she is pathetic for not being able to think for herself and she of course is beginning to ask about my vendors too!
i mean - why dont you just do everything the same - china, photos, band, EVERYTHING, lol!!!!

Re: would you be mad?
I would feel flattered that she thought my taste was that good.
Be careful with how much you share with her. You don't want to see all of your special wedding touches show up at her wedding.

Re: would you be mad?
LOL Whats funny is that I have the same band leader my sister did. BUT her wedding was 15 years ago. The guy was VERY young then because he looks great now - much better musician too.

Re: would you be mad?
I understand your fustration! We all want our wedding to be very special and a unique experience for our guests. It's hard because you don't want your brother to have a bad wedding. If it's your FH sister, you don't want him to get upset because you didn't help his sister out. Don't let her know that it upsets you and guide w/o giving away too much about your day! P.S. Don't mention LI weddings!!!! She might read your posts one day. Scary but true!

Re: would you be mad?
Well I am in the minority...I would be mad I would be mad about the China...since there are so many patterns and she choose the one that I picked..But I am petty I guess and Bridezilla would come out...But unfortuntely I don't have any sisters so I wouldn't have this problem
