If FH was going to a bachelor party and spending $300---that he DOES NOT have...on a strip club (which you hate), dinner, and alcohol (which he will not be drinking)?

I hate it too but I figure he'd want his friends to do the same for him. Otherwise there would be no one at the party and it would probably be boring. .

to me, it wouldn't be about the strip club, although i can understand why some girls would be annoyed...but it would be more about the fact that it's money he should not be spending.

We are stuggling so much right now...I havent started working yet and between this and the fact that he is in the bridal party, has to pay for a tux, a wedding gift and a hotel room cuz the wedding is out of town...it is driving me nuts...I feel bad for FH because it is a weekend in AC and already he is cutting it to just a night and isnt staying over...but I am pissed b/c we dont have the money and FH doesnt go to strip clubs and he doesnt drink so why should he have to spend all that money??

if its a close friend...then no i dont mind the strip clubs and stuff i know my FH is comming home to me if it is a close friend i wouldnt mind...if its just sopme he knows then i might be a little pissed

I get mad about his spending money, but don't care where he goes. His friends always do this for their bachelor parties. I just get annoyed that he gives the strippers money when they probably make more than I do!

unfortunately there are things we have to attend and spend money. If i had a friends bachelorette party to go to then i would go no matter what, theres no way i would miss it, so think of it that way, would you miss your friends bachelorette party?
Whether its a bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding, shower, christening or whatever the case is, there are things we have to spend money on even at times we don't have the money.

that's my take to. it would bother me, yes, because money is money... but you want his friends and his bridal party to do the same for him... so try to think of it that way. money is important, but it's not THAT important. you know?
a few of us should get together for coffee or something the night he's gone so you're not thinking about it.

I wish it were that easy...I know FH would never put his friends in a position where they were asked to put in money just because...why should they have to pay for something they arent going to be included in...the strip club whatever...if thats what he wants to do then thats something I have to just suck up...but why should he have to throw down $$ on alcohol he isnt even drinking...I told FH he has to go...I am not mad at him I am mad at the fact that he doesnt have the cash and he has to take it out of our wedding account to pay for this

im confused they're paying for alcohol at a club ahead of time? or are they getting tables with bottles and thats why?
Well it wouldn't be up to your FH what they spend for his own bachelor party, it would be his BM. I know it S*cks bc of the money but just tell him he'll have to make it up next paycheck or something and spend less than usual to put back the $300
