i was looking at an old friends facebook pictures & she wore white to a wedding!!!! luckily for me she is not invited to my wedding.
the ironic part is that she is in a picture with the bride & people commented saying, your not suppose to wear white to a wedding & her answer was it was off-white/ivory.
if this happens at my wedding, i will be so pissed off. when i showed the picture to FH, he wanted to make a bet to see if we could guess who at our wedding would do that.
so, if someone wears white, off white or ivory to your wedding how will you react????

Re: would you be mad????
I probably wouldn't even notice. At that point there wouldn't be anything I could do so I'd just brush it off. No reason to let that ruin my day.

Re: would you be mad????
I really don't care what any of my guests wear. I think I will be so excited and I will feel beautiful - if someone wants to wear white, jeans, shorts, I probably won't notice.
I think its a bit...odd....that someone's FMIL is wearing a birdcage veil. A veil is odd!!

I would be so annoyed! I would also be pissed if FMIL wore red. That means she doesn't agree with the marriage!

I'd be mad, but what could I do about it. I can't tell the person go home and change. But come on, everyone knows you shouldn't wear white to match with the bride.

I might have that problem because my principal and her husband 98% of the time where white everyday. But, I will kindly tell her not at my wedding

Re: would you be mad????
I personally won't even wear a dress with any ivory or white in it, even in a print, to someone's wedding.
If someone did it to me, as long as it was 'bridey' I don't think I'd care. I'd think they're tacky and classless, but I wouldn't fuss.

Re: would you be mad????
I recently went to a wedding where the bride wore white but her BM dresses were off white and it didn't take away from the bride at all. As a matter of fact it made her shine even more. I always thought I'd be mad if someone did this to me until I went to that wedding. Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely be thinking something but I know that the person couldn't out due me on my wedding day.

I wouldn't care; however, I do respect that a lot of brides do not want others wearing white to their weddings, so I would NOT wear white to someone else's wedding.
