Would you be pissed? I am-I think

Original post by Blu-ize

Valentine's Day is not a real big deal to us but we exchange cute things, cards, maybe a stuffed animal..etc.. our anniversary is 2 weeks away..etc..

So I got DH 3 cards (it's a thing with us) and left them on the table in the am for him to open when he came downstairs before he went to work.

Well there were no cards for me there, but he made up for it that night. The thing is, he didn't open his cards yet. It's now almost 2 days since I left them there. He says she's been busy and he has been, but come on, how much time does it take to open some cards?

He is out at a work function tonight and I gave him crap about it. He says I should get over it.

Really, does it take that much time to open the cards? Could he have taken them to work with him and opened them there and put them in his briefcase?

Am I being unreasonable? I don't know exactly why I'm pissed, but I am...

Don't be so hard on yourself about it. I think many of us would be annoyed as well, including myself.
I know it may not seem like a big deal to him, but sometimes the little things like a heartfelt card(s) is important to us b/c you took the time to choose them specifically for him. You'll work through it. Try not to stay upset about it for too long, but talk it out.

you have every right to be mad... print all these responses and leave them next to the cards for when he gets home
