Would you be upset about your DH being invited to a RD and you were not?
DH good friend is having a RD next Sat and we just found out that I wasn't invited when he called to RSVP
Am I crazy to think it's very rude to exclude me as his DW?
Not to mention that this is the same friend that just had a bachelor party in vegas last weekend! Oh and they both have a ton of money and were invited to our RD when we got married

i would think that's a tad bit rude. i mean usually with RDs the spouse and fiances are invited of the BP member attending.
did they say why they didn't invite you? are their ILs paying for it or something? My sister's cousin had her RD when her wedding was in FL, and the FFIL & FMIL paid, and were VERY strict as to who was allowed to come, and said NO members of the BP were allowed to bring dates.

Unless it is an event for all men than yes it is definitely rude, you don't invite someone to an event and not invite their spouse . . . that's the whole idea behind 'the two becoming one flesh'

I'm not sure who is paying for it....we paid for our RD and we invited all of our BP spouses, it was never even a thought not to:

Your his WIFE, and not including you is WRONG. Look I can understand being on a tight budget.....we all are or were, but come on. When we planned our reception for October the first thing we said was we will sit at a 2 person sweetheart table and the BP will sit in a long table to include there spouses. Maybe that's odd, but come on not to include someones wife in the invite..............If it were me, and I can be VERY loud and blunt sometimes I would call and ask why? Atleast that way you know what's up, and if it's a stupid reason your DH deserves to know what kind of a friend he is. My FH would KILL me if anyones spouse was left off the list. There is no excuse for that kind of insanity

We are inviting BP only- my FMIL is paying, and her and FH decided it would be that way. It won't make a difference for my girls..only one is married and her husband is staying in Fla with the kids (she's bringing her daughter, my FG and her mom), another has a serious boyfriend, but he's a DJ so he'll be working that night, and my sister's fiance is also in the wedding party. His brother will be married by then, his other brother has a long time girlfriend...but he's going to have to deal with them if they say something.
RDs are traditionally for BP only aren't they? I personally wouldn't be insulted- but I don't really care about things like that. JMHO

Sorry I did not understand what you were asking I would still be irritated though, he is your husband and you are a part of his life. Even if money is tight have a RD somewhere that is lees and make sure everyone and there sig other spouses esp feel included.

That is very rude. I'd definitely be annoyed - especially since they were BOTH invited to your RD....

ABSOLUTELY RUDE!!!!!!!! No one should invite someone to a wedding or RD or ANY event for that matter without their spouse! Talk about disregarding the sanctity of marriage!!!!! I think your husband should politely decline! XOXOXO Kitty

That is EXTREMELY rude. If I were invited without my spouse, I'd go to the rehearsal (b/c I'm in the BP), but I'd likely not attend the RD.
Unless extenuating circumstances were explained ahead of time, that's just plan rude.

Rehearsal dinners are traditionally just for the bridal party, parents and those invovled directly with the wedding. If my FH was invited to a RD and I wasnt asked to go, I would not be mad or offended. Everyone's budget is different and everyones views are different. RD is just one of those things that some people think that everyone should be invited with a guest and others think that it should be bridal party only. If they are not paying for it the they may be under someone elses control. I wouldnt be mad. JMHO

I think you have a right to be upset- moreso because you are his wife. They definately should have invited you- but its their loss!
