your FSIL still hasnt picked up her dress or her daughters dress from the store yet and your wedding was in four weeks? Both dresses still need major alterations. Sorry im just really stressed!

No I wouldn't because it's their problem if it's not done. Maybe she doesn't have the money right now. I'm a BM for a wedding in November and I was just called yesterday, but to be honest I don't have the money to pay the rest of it and it will have to wait.

All my girls have there dresses but nobody had alternations yet. What can you do? They will do on there time.

if its 4 weeks before then no. Its not like our wedding dresses where you need alot of time. My bm dresses came late and everyone had to do it in 2 weeks, it worked out. Ive gotten regular type of dresses, well evening dresses altered and it never took longer than 2 weeks to do.
Dont stress yourself out about these things, dont sweat the small stuff. I am sure they will get it done, you have enough to worry about.

in all honesty...4 weeks is still a decent amount of time to most people...I understand the stress of wedding planning but other people have lives and families and if she has a daughter school just started. you have to keep those things in mind. I'm sure she is well aware that the clock is ticking.

do you even know if she needs alterations, or what needs to be done. I was a bm a few weeks ago and i didnt need any at all. The dress fit absolutely perfect and even the length was perfect too.

both dresses are paid for..i guess i would have felt better if she picked them up and at least made sure they were the right dresses and that nothing was wrong with them
