Would you be upset? Poll

This morning we found out one of FH's Best Men, got engaged last night

They are getting married in February, as in 6 weeks No she is not preggo. I'm b/c I think it's so Rude to get married in Feb. before our June wedding that we've been planning for years.

I know that I shouldn't be mad, but I'm curious to see..

Why are you mad? Your getting married in June, 4 months after them. Be happy for them.

i wouldnt be mad...BUT i can understand where you are coming from a little bit you have probably been plannig for a while and now they kind of stole the spotlight because they are getting married first am i on the right track

YES How silly, am I? I felt the same way when my cousin who got engaged 10 months after us, set her destination wedding for Jan'08. I just hate how events/ task I had scheduled for our wedding are being put to the back burner, now since their wedding is so soon.

I'm with Melissa -- I would be PIIISSSED if they picked a date like a week BEFORE your wedding. 4 months before, no one will even remember their wedding by the time yours comes around

I wouldn't be mad...but only because my best friend got engaged in November, 2006 and is planning an October, 2009 wedding. I got engages this past August and am getting married in August, 2008....so I guess I kinda did the same thing...

they're waiting for money reasons, whereas, we don't have to do that (thank to our generous families) and we just don't want to wait, we'd get married tomorrow if we could have planned everything in time!

Be happy for them, I'm sure their decision has nothing to do with your wedding plans.

Your not silly...Just think ..yes they are getting married before you but, that doesnt make your wedding less enjoyable ..you are going to have a great wedding and be the 'star' not in february but in June

Thanks We had a long engegement & instead of just planning a wedding, we're having a whole weekend of events. We're lucky where most of the expenses of the wedding, are gifted to us, from our families. We picked our date since my FH wanted Spring, & we need nice weather for some events.

My FH said that they don't want to 'follow us' b/c we'll vbe a tough act to follow.

I;m such a Bridezilla Maybe it's just the stress of the holidays, and I'll get over it, soon

i wouldn't be mad...think of it this way....their wedding is 6 weeks away which means they only have 6 weeks to plan, whereas you have wayyyyy more time and effort going into your plans, sooooo your wedding is definitely going to kick their wedding's a**

but no i wouldn't be mad, infact we know ppl who got engaged after us and got married before us and its fine. I can't expect ppl to schedule their lives and do what makes them happiest bc of a choice FH and I made.

Maybe its just the shock of it but im sure after the thought settles you'll be fine

No - we've had three friends already get engaged after us and married before us so we're used to it already...

Well ....if it was my best girlfriend I might say yes I would be mad but he is your FHs best man (and I hate to give them the excuse) but men don't think like that. Also, I dont know how close you are to his new fiance but Im sure she had a big part in the date choice. It is hard to plan these things appropriately without stepping on anyones toes when we are all at a marrying age together.

I wouldnt be upset. Its not going to take away from your wedding AT ALL. Esp. since yours is a few months away.
