so FH and I want to do a mini moon. Due to money and time, we were gonna do something small and take REAL HM in Sept IF we can afford it.
So today he sends me email that the place we stayed in NAPA VALLEY that we LOVE offered him a half off room if the stay is between mon-thurs. We get married on a Sunday so it's perfect!
The airfare: we can fly on his Uncle's passes via AA for 200 bucks.
SHould we do it?
All of my married friends that said they waited to take HM never did and there's nothing like going RIGHT after.

If you cant afford the trip of your dreams now, then I dont see why you shouldnt wait. The trip to Napa sounds great. So pretty and romantic and you will have a great time-- with less stress about paying for it.
I'm doing a minimoon because our honeymoon is almost 6 weeks later! I need some sort of rest!

Sounds great to me! If circumstances have it that you won't be able to get away in a few months, you'll always regret it otherwise. Napa is the perfect place to spend a few quiet days!

We went to Napa summer of 2008 and had an amazing time, if you do it FM me and I will look up the restaurants and vineyards we recommend - we have a bunch.

I say do it! It'll be nice to get away and unwind right after all of the craziness and wine country is just gorgeous out in CA!!!

I think it sounds like a great idea. You should definitely do something right after your wedding. IT doesn´t have to be big but I think that it would be good to just have that special alone time.

i think you should do it. if its not that expensive then go for it because its true..i think it wont be the same if you wait because you wont be on that marriage high and if down the road you cant afford the trip then at least you went on something
