Would you bother with limos...re: Church

OK, so we are switching our Church because FH's is Church is being gay and won't marry us yadda yadda yadda because I'm a satanist blah blah blah

There's a Church in Mt. Sinai that is LITERALLY around the corner from my parents house where we will be getting ready that we can have the ceremony at. We drive north on their road, make a left and the Church is immediately on the right.

Money's not an issue...I just feel its incredibly stooopid to take a limo to the church thats probably 1/2 mile away

Can we just have a limo pickup from the Church, do pics, then drop off at the RH?

If you don't care about it, then I would say skip out on the Limo to the church and then have them pick you up from there and bring you to the RH. No one sees you come out of the Limo to go into the Church, so it doesn't really matter if you don't care about it-jmo

Sure why not! I don't think thats weird... SAve the extra money and add a day or 2 to your HM!

I would definitely save the limo until after the church! Besides, you could get some really cute pics walking to the church!

Just keep these things in mind:

1. you are not going to want to walk 1/2 mile to church in your gown, shoes, fresh hair and make-up

2. have a back-up incase the weather is crappy

3. it might not save you any money on your limo. Remember there are minimums of time for booking a limo so most likely unless your church and rh are really far away from each other you may stil fall within the minimum time requirement
