Would you breakup with your hairdresser & colorist...

BUMP from BHB
....two months before your big day?

I've gone to the same duo for a year now but both are booked on my wedding day. I also feel like the last time I was there, they just didn't do what I wanted....and I'm hating my hair color right now. (She thought I should be more natural and went darker than I'm used to...I'm used to being a dirty blonde).

What would you do?

I've bounced from stylist to stylist my whole life so I have no real attachments to anyone.. The ONLY one I ever have really relied on is Giselle @ Frasada... she truly can not do wrong. Send me a FM if ya want some more details.

I don't live in LI :( but if you want to travel up to the White Plains area,, I HIGHLY recommend Monica at EVANGELISTA's. She did my hair and I went DRASTICALLY diff! From the burgandy in my e-pics (in album) to a carbon copy of eva mendes' hair-that caramel highlighted mass And anyone who colors their hair KNOWS how hard it is to get red out without overporcessing the heck out of your hair and she did it! Not cheap but well worth it because I havent gotten one bad comment and when I went to ym best friend's wedding last week and had it done, HER stylist kept telling me to tip whoever colored my hair REALLY WELL because she did a fabulous job. -grins gayer than christmas yet his fingers were having a love affair with my hair!

The owner's name is DOminic and I forget his wife's name, but she was the one who helped Monica mix my color. Two thumbs way up for them all.

Me too... My mom and sis use her too...

People thought I had extensions in my hair the day of but it was my hair.. thats how great the curls were!!!!

She's sweet and does a great job..

It's really awkward BUT I have been with my hair dresser for 6 years and we recently broke up. She never did any up dos on my hair and I did 2 trials costing 100 each! and she did an awful job and I felt didn't put thta much effort into it at all. I got very upset and cancelled and actually forbid to go to her anymroe it hurt me that after knowing me this long she would continue to charge me and do an AWFUL job for trials.

Sounds like a real relationship ? lol

Yes...I did this recently. I had been using the same person for years. She never really listened to what I said and she just did whatever she wanted to with my hair. I'd ask for low lights and she would say it wasn't necessary, request bangs she told me they wouldn't look good. I got tired of always just going with what she said. The final straw came when she charged me almost $100 for a half a**ed trial updo. It looked like my 5 year sister did it. I ended it there and found a new hairdresser.
