Would you die....

Re: Would you die....

I have to say, that must be the rudest person on this entire board!!!!!! If I were that poor bride, who sounds like she was trying to be NICE by paying for the hair and makeup of the bridal party, do NOT throw it back in their face, it's just so unnecessary. People like that are jealous, and miserable, and should, for the sake and sanity of others, lock themselves in their houses and never come out...that's just ridiculous!

... if you have pics, im sure we'd love to see it all in action 'what not to do at a wedding'

Yes, I can give you a giant list of what not to do based on this girl's wedding.....

1 - make sure the landscaper you hire clears enough land. Otherwise you will have to put a table over the giant bushes on the lawn - true story, several tables were placed over hedges and women's stockings were getting ripped

2 - if you are going to hire a DJ and get angry when people don't dance - have the courtesy to put in some type of makeshift dance floor. Asking them to dance in heels on grass when it rained that morning is not cool

3 - If you are going to invite 130 people to your house upstate, make sure there is more than 2 bathrooms available

4 - If you are going to invite 130 people to your house upstate, consider the fact they need somewhere to park. Most people had to park over 10 blocks away in a town that didn't allow parking in the street after 10pm (which is why the wedding ended @ 10pm)

Oh, and if you are having a wedding for 130 people at your house upstate, you need to invite your neighbors or let them know. Because they would probably not leave their undergarmets hanging on the clothesline next door - you can see them in the background on a bo-k toss photo

If she persisted then she better watch her back for the rest of her life! because her wedding will one day (unfortuantely) roll around.

You might have missed it, but the BM who posted that got married the year before in the most a$$-backwards ceremony possible (which I posted the list of 'don'ts' for.)

That is why she was complaining about the cheap gift the bride gave (and would be getting the same amount back) and why she was mad she couldn't sit with her husband.

This was posted 5 days before the wedding ON PURPOSE so the bride could see it. And the MySpace thing - she basically posted a blog on MySpace about how spoiled 'some people' are, and had links to bridesmaids dressed that looked similar but were 1/2 the price.

These BM dresses were from David's - which we all know is pretty reasonable.

she should grow a pair and talk to her friend face-to-face instead of pulling this passive-aggressive bull$hit in which she vents to every tom, ****, and harry on the internet stupid b*tch

My sister's friend. My sister was the MOH.

And yes, the BM was fibbing about alot of things to make herself sound better.

Like, she said the bride wasn't providing lunch. But the bride was having a very nice breakfast platter with bagel, muffins, coissants (sp?), fruit, coffee, tea, juice, etc that was going to be out all day. So, there was plenty of food for them to eat in the morning and thru the afternoon. She didn't get a separate lunch because she was worried about sandwiches with dressing causing upset stomachs. She ordered some bland food for the girls that wasn't messy to be there all day.

But, this specific BM said she wanted 'a real lunch' and showed the bride a catering menu with finger sandwiches with tuna salad and stuff and the bride jokingly said 'I don't want you all having fish breath so no tuna!'. The BM posted that 'the bride isn't even serving lunch because she said she doesn't want us to have bad breath'.

So, you see that she totally twisted everything around to make the bride sound horrible? Granted this bride was a little neurotic about a few things (aren't we all sometimes!), but this BM was totally self centered and WAY wrong about everything.

The bride and this BM are still friends because their husbands are best friends. I have no idea why she would ever let this person be a part of her life. Apparently everyone 'got over it' a few months later. The bride had self esteem issues about alot of things and honestly I don't think was strong enough to stand up to this girl and tell her to eff off.

Re: Would you die....

OMG I'm so sorry for this bride. I would have been mortified if I was her husband (the BM). And it just goes to show that you can't believe all thats posted. A while back someone on here posted full out lies about someone I know but I wasn't about to add to the drama. Hows the relationship between the two couples now I wonder.
