I personally know the bride that was crushed by this post and bridesmaid that posted it. The FH had to take her computer out of the house after this was posted because this BM also attacked her on MySpace.

OMG !! I don't know what kind of person would do this ! She should have been honored to be in the bridal party ! The BM's are there for the Bride not Vice Versa !! What a completly rude jerk. I hope she is not freinds with them anymore.

Re: Would you die....
I skimmed the whole thread and I cannot believe it went on for 12 pages. The best part is that most of the brides told the BM to get over herself.....
I wish the bride had gone into that thread and torn her 'friend' a new one. But it looks like that did not happen. There was no reason to, I guess, since the other brides did a good enough job of that for her.
I heard about all this happening 2nd person, but seeing it now for the first time I am amazed the bride still allowed this girl to be in her wedding. She kept her cool because the best man was this BM's husband....
that was a horrible childish post but i kind of agree with some of her issues...BUT..an adult does not do what she did..an adult has an adult discussion about issues they are having....wow. People like that are not mature enough to even BE getting married!

I have to say I agree with some of the things she said........but then again I'm not expecting much from my BM....
I do think she is kinda angry to be posting it and didnt have the guts to just talk to the bride about some of the issues.

Re: Would you die....
The BM who posted this was basically jealous. She didn't get her 'dream wedding' because of financial concerns and was bitter through the whole process for this bride.
At the BM's wedding, she made the bridal party serve the guests food. That's right. She didn't pay for a wait staff so she made all the BM's stand behind the buffet table and serve the food. She didn't tell them they would be doing this, she just handed them spatulas and told them to go to work. She also made them clean up after the wedding by hauling dishes, tables, and chairs back into the house. And no, she didn't tell them before hand they would be doing this, so there are some funny photos of the bridal party carrying armfuls of chairs in their formal attire.
So, this person had NOTHING to be complaining about since she basically made her bridal party double as hired help. No, she didn't make them get there early for make-up, but they did stay up until almost 3 am cleaning up for a party that ended @ 10pm.

wait this girl made her bridal party WORK at her wedding and then had those complaints? ugh, first off, what bridesmaid doesnt want to be with the bride getting ready? that one was the most ridiculous - that you should only need to get there 2 hours before geez
i would have laughed and said, ok you dont have to be part of my wedding anymore - adios!
that is the reason i have 3 bridesmaids and i love them and want to spoil them, not drive them nuts some brides let it get to their head and they act ridiculous, so i always remember to put myself in my bridesmaids shoes when it comes to time, money, stuff like that.....

Re: Would you die....
Whoa! She sounds like she needs some meds! She should've definately approached the bride about these problems as they were occurring and bowed out of the BP gracefully because it was too costly for her. That post was just rude and inappropriate in a public forum.. No real friend lost in that situation

WOWWw !! What a horrible person!!!!!! Yikes- I thought getting the BM's makeup and hair done would be a nice gift.... How is that a gift for just the bride???? Doing pampering stuff for people, make them look even more beautiful... I don't care how my BM's do their hair... YIKES! That post was insane...I would have felt crushed...

yeah i read more through the thread and i do agree with some of her points. But she went about it the wrong way, she should've spoken to her friend instead of posting on a board where she would read it, then its funny bc when others told her to speak to her friend she said 'how can i tell her 2 weeks before the wedding that is wrong' what an idiot
and on top of that, all she kept saying was 'its JUST a party, get over yourselves brides, its not a big deal' she wouldnt even listen to what others had to say. She was wrong how she dealt with and she said 'i wasnt asked to be a bm i was told i had to be one' who the H e l l forces you to do anything, you dont have a mouth you cant speak up and say no, are you that much of an idiot that ppl force you to do things. If you have problems talk to your friend. Her attitude was just real annoying

Actually, I found it by accident. You know how on the bottom of threads it gives you links to threads that might be of the same topic? Well, I found a thread by the bride, whose name I recognized, and by chance she happened to have replied to this thread in her chat history.
My sister was the MOH in this wedding and regularly gave me updates about this problem bridesmaid. And like I said, the husband of this BM was the Best Man. So, that is why they didn't sit together at the wedding. The bride wanted all her girls lines up next to her at the Dais and the groomsmen next to the groom. Plus, the BM was flat out lying because the bride arranged for a limo to take the wedding party back to her house where their cars were - but the next morning because almost everyone was staying at the hotel. She had a shuttle bus from the reception to the hotel. This BM didn't want to stay at the hotel and wanted to go home that night.
I brought it up because I thought some of you might get a chuckle out of all of it.....

oh okay... jus thought there might have been more to the story im not sure how a bride could even put the people who are near and dear to her to work at her wedding... thats absolutely insane... if you have pics, im sure we'd love to see it all in action 'what not to do at a wedding'
