Would you do Chocolate Fountain AND a Groom's cake?
Or just one?I wanted to do a Yankee groom's cake... we're both HUGE Yankee fans (I actually think I'm the bigger Yankee fan!).
but I'm thinking this could be one place I could save money, and just spend the money on what I really want, which is the chocolate fountain, since we're getting a beautiful wedding cake anyway.
What do you think?

Re: Would you do Chocolate Fountain AND a Groom's cake?
Honestly, if you are going to one or the other, I say the groom's cake...it can be a flavor that he likes, but maybe the cake isn't....or something simpler that kids will enjoy better...this is a great way IMO to be sure everyone can enjoy cake. That and they charge you a CRAZY fee for the fountains!!! (Unless you can buy one and bring it in yourself)

Re: Would you do Chocolate Fountain AND a Groom's cake?
I'm doing both. FH hates chocolate, but FMIL and I LOVE chocolate fountains, so she wants to pay for it for us. So at the rehearsal dinner I'm surprising FH with an aquarium cake that is yellow cake with strawberry and banana filling, his favorite. I say you only live once.

Re: Would you do Chocolate Fountain AND a Groom's cake?
Can you both - the Chocolate Ft at the Reception, and the Groom's Cake at the Rehearsal Dinner?I honestly think both in addition to the reception cake is serious overkill, and a waste of $$ as people are so stuffed, that they will definitely skp.
