consider just dropping your invites into a mailbox?

After waiting 45 minutes at the PO for NOTHING, I wonder if it would be so bad...

I am 99% sure that is what my FH did. He put the stamps on himself, seals and sent them out. Never had a problem with any of them, but again not 100% sure how he did it, he just said 'I will take care of it'

NO...... I had a bad experience w/ my STDs..I didn't want to risk my invites not getting to their destination.

That's what I did. They're going to get dirty one way or the other and the envelope just gets thrown out anyway.

True story, I SWEAR!!!!
My uncle dropped one of my cousin's invitations in a mailbox on a corner in Brooklyn (not a bad area ... Midwood).
The next morning he sent someone to mail a few extras ... and THE MAILBOX WAS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some hoodlums had stolen the box with all the mail inside (including the invitations!) in the middle of the night.
Lesson learned: wait on the line at the post office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
