buy your bridesmaid dresses online? I really, really like this Watters dress but it's expensive. I found a website that sells it for 1/2 the price but I'm a little worried.
I think it should be fine. I know someone that is doing that. They went to a boutique to get their measurements and then sent them to the website.

Just google whatever site you're looking at and make sure the reviews are good.

Just make sure to read their return/refund policy

Re: Would you ever..
I'd be pretty nervous about doing that. I've heard some pretty bad things about some of those discount online places - making very poor quality dresses that don't look like the real thing or never even sending the dresses that were ordered. I'd do some research to see what others are saying about a particular online site.

Re: Would you ever..
its beautiful dress! But i would be worried i think. I am the type who needs to see it in person and have one of my girls try it on. But thats just me.
What you could do it bring one of your bridesmaids to a shop, have them try it on and if you love it then order them online. I think that would be fine!

Re: Would you ever..
I looove the dress and it's around $266 on certain websites but I think I'll find a store on LI and have my girls try it on first.
But I've heard that some websites offer some dresses at a lower price and when they receive them the color and stitching is off.
I guess you get what you pay for.

Re: Would you ever..
Personally I wouldnt... one of my girls asked if she could so I did some research and after I looked into it I told her not a chance.
Most of the sites don't allow exchanges on BM dresses, so if they mess up you're basically stuck with the dress and I've also read some nightmares that they get the dress and its poor quality and most likely a knock off of what the dress. But again, thats just me... if you find a site that would allow returns and/or exchanges and you can order in enough time where if somethings wrong it can be fixed then I don't really see a problem.

I WOULD BE TOO CHICKEN TO DO IT ONLINE. BUT IF YOU REALLY LOVE THE DRESS AND CAN'T FIND IT CHEAPER ANYWHERE ELSE, I WOULD CHECK BBB FOR THE WEBISTE TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM...I WOULD ALSO GOOGLE SOMETHING LIKE 'REVIEWS OF ____________' AND SEE WHAT COMES UP.

Re: Would you ever..
I did! I bought my BM dress for a wedding I was in through RK Bridal's no frills program. I ordered it online, didn't try it on or anything, and it was just fine.

I was just going to recommend the same thing. I did this for my BMs. Even better I had them all shipped to my grandmothers in NJ and didn't have to pay sales tax either!

Call Lotus Bridal in Brooklyn, NY. We got the BM dresses from them and the prices were comparable to RK's No Frills...but with Lotus, you get the frills...lol
