ask your bridesmaids to join a gym with you, even though you know its over $100 a month for the membership?

Yeah, what could happen... they say no. BTW you can find gyms that cost less.

this bride was telling her BMs that they had to join a specific gym, which was $100+ a month + joining fee, etc.
I dont know to me that seems like a lot to demand financially, especially if i already had another gym membership!

I wouldn't ask that and I wouldn't be happy if a bride asked me to do that. It is one thing to invite them to join with you because you think it would be fun to go together, but I don't think you can ask them to join in any way that makes people feel obligated. I think the financial demands of being in a wedding are already high for most girls and its not fair to ask anyone to do more than the typical (dress, bridal shower, bachelorette party etc.) When a girl agrees to be in your bridal party they have some idea of what it will cost, but adding on additional things like a gym membership seems unnecessary.

no, i work at a gym and one of my members is getting married and she wants all 6 of her BMs to joing to club, and take bootcamp with her.
i dont know if she is on here so i dont want to give to much away, but i think its way to much of a financial commitment

NOOOOOOOO I couldn't see myself doing that even though all my BMs are family. It's too much of a financial burden and it's an insult.

She's crazy! I could see like hey lets all join Planet fitness or something and motivate each other but no I would never imagine asking such a financial burden on girls that already are going to have to spend money for my wedding

No way! Oh, that's just crazy. It's one thing to find a work out buddy, a total different thing to make all of your bridesmaids join with you.
On a sidenote, I find that working out with FH is a lot of fun! When we're both working full time, the last thing I want to do is leave him for a few hours to go work out. So we starting running together a few times a week. It's been great!

Is it bc she wamted to take a certain class or something? Maybe there is somewhere cheaper. $100/month is a lot shouldn't the bride be budgeting? I do hope that she wasn't insinuating that her bridesmaids are fat!
