booking your HM on Orbitz.Com or a similiar website?
I know it's not the traditional way of doing things - - but some of their packages that are all inclusive are extremely inexpensive!

I booked our honeymoon cruise through Cruise411.com. They offered a discount & I had no problems & didn't need a travel agent!

I would.. why not? but I would also print all that stuff out, like the tour operator, if any, or the place offering those packages and then aska reputable travel agent and see if he/she can get you that deal or something similar..
also read into possibly getting travel insurance if it's offered, or look into any refunds or credits...

I booked a flight on there and it was no problem, I also know some people who booked vacations on there and had no problem - if it is confirmed by them then you should have no problem.

My mom books flights on Orbitz all the time and has no problem.

I booked my tickets to Italy on Orbitz and my trip to South Beach next month there too!
Edited to say: so far they have the best prices I have seen online!

We met several people who did their HM on Orbitz. They did great! Just remember to call ahead to your hotels to confirm your reservations ahead, then ask them for HM'er upgrades!!

It should not be a problem at all. We have booked entire trips within the U.S. as well as abroad on the internet and never had a problem. There are several great sites out there, Orbitz included. We always compare notes when we arrive at our destinations and find that we paid less than others for the same trip! Good luck. Again, you should have no problems.

You might also want to try www.vacationoutlet.com, prices are pretty good.
Ortibz is fine though. They have some pretty good deals.

I booked our HM on the internet - www.allaboardcruises.com - got an extra 2 days on the HM compared to what my local TA offered.
If you use a site other than Orbitz (who are great I'ved bought tix thru them) or 1 of the bigger sites, I'd check them out with the BBB before booking.
