Would you ever consider renting your day of jewlrey and/or tiara?

I was complaining to my mom about how much $$ I've spent on my day of necklace, bracelet, and headpiece. She suggested that after the wedding I rent out the pieces to other brides. Has anyone ever heard of this? Would you consider it? I think it may be a good idea for those on a really tight budget and those who are not sentimentally attached to the stuff.

I said that I wouldn't consider renting my jewelry, just because I'd want to keep it for memories. Even if I wouldn't wear it again, I like to go through my keepsakes every once and a while.

I definitely would rent! I am not very sentimental and I don't like to have too much stuff laying around.

I never really thought about it until LIW's very own Soon2bMsZ (Maxine) offered her tiara to me. Thats my 'something borrowed'.

I would definitely rent my jewelry-especially if there was something specific I wanted and COULD NOT afford it in anyway

I would love to see someone else get some use out of my headpiece being that it was extraordinarily expensive. BUT I would NEVER charge a friend. Anyone who was NOT a friend, I wouldn't lend it to in the first place.

I would have totally considered renting my tiara and jewelry. However, when we got engaged a friend asked if I wanted to borrow her tiara and veil. I said sure, if it matches the dress I find. Amazingly enough, it matches perfectly and now I have my something borrowed.

I was thinking of renting my tiara and jewelry for like $50 once my wedding is over.

All of the jewelry that I am wearing is sentimental. It all belonged to my great-grandmother, grandmother, and mom.

I probably also wouldn't rent jewelry from anyone either. JMO

I would definitely rent...save me some money...plus when would I ever wear the tiara again and I'm not a jewerly kind of person, I would probably not wear my wedding day jewerly that often afterwards.
