Both were at the Russo's showcase last night. Were you there? I though they were both really amazing. We're going with a DJ just because it's more cost effective, less people to feed and FH likes to hear the songs played by the artists who sang them.

As far as a band goes though Paris sounded REALLY good!

I am sooo not a band person - but i LOVE Paris - they are awesome. . . I have only liked two bands ever and they were one of them!

If you are talking about Classie Sounds? They are my DJ and i love them so far - I have never been to a wedding with them but what I like is that my MOH went to two weddings that the same guy worked ( Keith) and she didnt even realize it was the same guy!

One bride and groom wanted him to be really involved and get the dance floor packed and he did that for them

and another couple wanted him to just announce stuff and lay low (which is exactly what I want) so he did that for them. .. i think thats the best thing to look for in a DJ - that they want to do what YOU want and now just to do what THEY want to do as a DJ. . .

cost wise theres no question - a DJ is so much cheaper we couldnt justify getting a band. . .

My sister just got married this past July and she had Paris!! They were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! every song sounded just like the recordings. I don't think you can go wrong with them. if you have any questions feel free to FM me!!!!

FH and I are going to do a DJ (not sure who yet) but mainly bc the cost is a BIG difference. If you can afford it i would say go for it....they are not a typical BAND everyone was dancing the entire night they did a great job!!!!

If you have the budget to do it I would definitely one hundred percent tell you to book Paris - i tried to book them last night and they were already booked for my date! They sing all and i mean ALL styles of music from Frank Sinatra to Sean Paul and it sounds like the artist is there singing it.

Hi ladies... havent been online in a few days but thank you so much for your replies!! Going to see the dj group Starlight Express this wed. so as of now its between, Classie Sounds, Paris or Starlight Express.

I have to say I have not been to a wedding with a band in a long time, so I am not sure of any band names or how good they are. I am not really looking for a band either. I am having Classie Sounds as my DJ. I have seen them at a wedding and on video at other weddings they do a great job. I have Keith as my MC. So I am not sure if I am helping you, b/c I am biased to them since I booked them already. I am sure how ever you pick will do a great job.... Good luck
